My curious look at Google results

Aha, finally I break through your barrier and get to post! I’m a PHP Game Programmer, although a very amateur one as I’ve really only recently got the hang of some of the more complex PHP designs (like OOP). I found your code to be one of the best out there and finally came across this site. I hope to follow in your footsteps and be able to code half as well someday

I don’t so much have a blog as a website keeping track on my current progress with my own little PHP RPG. http://www.visionsofdarkness.net

I started with a simple game with only select boxes where you created a character and fought against a chosen monster (from another drop down). You could level up and buy a weapon and one piece of armor. After that I went a little overboard on my next design which never panned out because I bit off more than I could chew My third version worked (and is still working) http://www.visionsofdarkness.net/gamev3/ however I was very dissapointed in my work and lost interest until I brought up a good design idea for my 4th version which hopefully will be “the one” to go beyond a mere beta stage (and be easier on the eyes).

I’ve also got some forums up with my two fan members that somehow came across my page almost instantly after it was formed. They’ve been around for quite a while (I think 2 years?) which is somewhat flattering and somewhat strange that they haven’t abandoned the site.
