Hmm, why are you using "==" in stead of "equal"?

There were a few bumps in the road but it is working out nicely. I would really like to have a non-refreshing main page where only the windows refreshed when they had to chance. Unfortunately it will require some rewriting of code game code. Something to think about in the future.
This was mainly an experiment to see if it could be done and to give me a little experience in working with CSS and Javascript heavy template. All I can say is, it was a nightmare getting the template to work properly in all browsers. Firefox game me the most headaches. Everything would usually work right in Opera and IE but fail in Firefox. :p But after two days of hard work I got everything working.
I can see some interesting possibilities in the future.

Firefox 3 should contain Mozilla's revised Javascript machine so performance and such will improve drastically.
I have a strong tendency to Firefox - so I usually view all the other browsers with suspicion

Have amended the code to override __set() instead and added a limitation on setting objects as values (my preferred method is to deflect objects from reaching template authors unless necessary).

What I would do is write a toArray() method for those objects. If you check for the method to exist in __set(), using method_exists($obj, 'toArray'); you can convert them to arrays from within your view object. That would save you from having to manually converting them in your controllers, time and time again.
